1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of the My OWL RoadTrip™ application and website, provided by My OWL Tech LLC. By using RoadTrip, you agree to these terms.
2. Planning and recording tool
RoadTrip supports travel planning, weather awareness, optional location recording, expense records, and trip history. It does not provide turn-by-turn navigation, calculate driving routes, or guarantee arrival times, road access, or safe travel.
3. Driver responsibility and safety
Do not operate or interact with the app in a way that distracts you while driving. The driver is responsible for safe operation of the vehicle, obeying traffic laws, and checking signs, closures, official alerts, and current road conditions. Use the app only when it is safe and lawful to do so.
4. Weather and other estimates
Forecasts, travel estimates, mileage, location points, trip summaries, and other information can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Weather and road conditions change. RoadTrip does not replace official weather warnings, road authorities, emergency services, or independent judgment.
5. Optional location and records
Location recording is optional. Device settings, signal conditions, connectivity, and whether the app is active can affect recorded points. You are responsible for reviewing your records and maintaining backups of information you wish to preserve.
6. Expenses and history
Expense, mileage, travel-time, and historical comparisons reflect information available to or entered in the app and may not be complete or suitable for tax, reimbursement, accounting, or other official purposes.
7. Third-party services
Maps, forecasts, operating-system features, and other external services may be provided by third parties and are subject to availability and their own terms. My OWL Tech LLC does not control their accuracy or continued availability.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app or website, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service unlawfully.
9. Availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We may revise these terms and will update the date above when revised.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RoadTrip is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted service, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. My OWL Tech LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
